I don't believe that for a second Stefl, sorry.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

Linkz words are meant to be undermining and that is all.
Voteless is not so much of a consequence, and if he's treating it as such, then perhaps it's because he knows the spread already. Regardless of how unfair he thinks it is (knowing how many mafia) suffice to say, it is still my role.

1http://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=Voteless

"Being rendered voteless is one of the worst things that can happen in a game."

Voteless is absolutely a liability to town. Lylo/mylo comes sooner, and that's regardless of the number of mafia to start.

-When I look at everything together, I see Linkz pushing for me to claim, citing my asking for nen's alignment. He witnessed me saying "there it is". And then my subsequent "I'm not actually a lie detector".

So why does he think I'm lying about my role?

2 Yes, after hinting at something actually damning and delaying your claim as long as possible, you claimed a role which will never be nightkilled. Is that not a convenient way to explain down the line why you're still alive?

theprof00 said: The way I see it happening is that Linkz is pushing me to prove myself as a lie detector highlighting Nen's claim for me. He then asks for my proof. It is certain that he distinctly, even aggressively, wanted me to prove myself by scanning nen. That is a fact.

Now to run through scenarios:
Scum Linkz wants me to scan town nen (wasting it)
Scum Linkz wants me to scan mafia nen (to appear town)
Town Linkz wants me to scan nen (prove that I'm town)

Out of these circumstances, I don't see either of the last two being really motivational to his posts.
Why would he push so hard for me to claim when I haven't done anything to warrant suspicion in the first place? Other people have been suspicious of me but have not asked for the same proof.

3 Where did I ever indicate I was playing off your implication by pushing you to scan nen. YOU pushed for nen to claim alignment or what have you. I said it was pointless until you said you'd claim if I got him to do so. If I wanted you to prove yourself by scanning nen, wouldn't I have facilitated him claiming right from your first hint?

So yeah, I was clearly pushing you to reveal a "scan you already made" of nen. THAT is a fact.

But let's go through your hypothetical scenarios anyway:
You scan a town nen, thus confirming a townie. What waste is there?
You scan a mafia nen, that I had called town before you called him mafia and I had been adamantly defending all day. How do I appear town?
How would I know if your scan was legit, since as scum you could just state the truth about nen regardless of his alignment.

theprof00 said: Linkz is also good at reading people. Looking at Linkz push for me to claim, there are a couple of options.

1Linkz is so certain I'm scum that he's sure I'm lying about my role implication of Lie Detector (not very plausible) and so is calling my bluff.

4Take note folks. THIS is rolefishing. See prof is calling it "not very plausible" in order to push me to claim Lie Detector myself or cop(which is quite similar in results) or masons/siblings/lovers/etc. with nen or maybe even Tracker or a flavor/role cop. Any of which is in fact easily plausible.

theprof00 said: 2Linkz cannot read me whatsoever, and needs my claim to help narrow his own list.

Earlier he said that I was scum by process of elimination, that being I'm in the "likely scum" category, (out of 8 players) against others who were in the "slightly leaning scum" category. So, what we have here is that there exists no evidence (citing his 'process of elimination' post).
That would indicate disqualification of option 2 that he cannot read me whatsoever, since he was at least capable of placing me in the "likely scum" category. This would be compounded by his aggressiveness, leading me to think a town linkz was very confident in my scum alignment.
This would make me conclude that of the options for Town linkz aggressively going after Prof, it is due to the fact that he is very confident and is calling my bluff.

However, in this scenario there is a troubling piece of evidence. When I soft-claimed a Lie detector, Linkz became more hostile. Coupled with the fact that I was telling everyone that Nen is my top suspect, and that my claim would lend validity to what I was saying, then the town reaction should have been something a bit more desirable, don't you think? It should've been something like "So, you're soft-claiming LD, and you want us to lynch nen, so then you scanned him based on something he said, and he turned up lying. What specifically did he lie about?" I mean, right? That's what I would have thought so that I may judge the evidence for myself.

I did not need to specifically say "nen is not pro-town", because I implied it with wanting to lynch him.
Furthermore, since I hadn't been on nen's case so much on day 1, it would also imply that it is a night action, yet Linkz seems to think that I was capable of acting during the day.

5Please show me where I ever indicated thinking you were implying a day action rather than a night action.

theprof00 said:

Based on this piece of evidence, I would say that Linkz had a greater inclination to believe that I was lying PREVIOUS to further input.
Looking at the logic, it would follow as such:
Suspects Nen, Claims power will validate, Claiming Lie detector, Nen was caught Lying -> Prof is a Liar

The last possible option is that he believes I hadn't used the power yet. But there is not much garnered from this possibility.

To me, the only possible result would be that Linkz knows Nen is Town, and is challenging me to either waste if (if not yet used), or claim it.

Also of note is that it is possible that the Bus Driver was able to be used last night despite SAK not being present.

Linkz, why did you not consider that I had already used my power on nen?

6As I've said above. All day I was considering that you were implying to have already used a power on nen.

1. Sucks to be me then. Good point!

2. Guess it is convenient. Guess I already answered this one in a previous post too.

3. The fact is you missed all the hints I was dropping. You missed all the hints, and then came at me without seeing where my pressure would take us. You interrupted crucial interrogation.

Wastes:
1. using it on someone who isn't mafia, and then I get killed
2. wants me to "SCAN" mafia nen which you can say you facillitated by bringing attention to it
3. Mistake there, that's true. But why suspect a townie for soft claiming LD and fingering nen?

4. Rolefishing? I answered this already too. You scanning nen would be a poor choice. You being teammates with him as masons or siblings should rule out a miller in your mind. etc etc. I don't believe you know he's town through any possible power. Tracking also would say nothing about someone who didn't physically do the kill.

5.By saying now what, after nen claimed human, you imply that I would do it right there.

6. You never let that on at all, you combatted and contested me the entire time. Gee sure sounds like you thought that I alreayd scanned nen.

So like I said earlier, I'm quite likely scum's target for the kill tonight. If I'm gone tomorrow, do not mourn my loss, or waste time with any "told you so"s or "oh man I was so wrong".

Lynch prof, FF, pezus, Baalz in any order. And Noc if it comes down to it. Congratulations town, we've won.

If there's a vig, you should shoot into that pool. Preferably tonight, but if you want to wait until I'm confirmed town to trust me then so be it. That might open a window to lynch spurge if needed, but I don't think he's scum. If he is, way to go dude. You earned it so far.

So stefl is town then?

Anyway, I don't like the Stefl lynch. We lynch him because stefl is lurking?

I READ EVERYTHING!!!

Strange that you don't like it, even though I'm his staunchest defender and your vote is on me. Are you trying to keep him around for a clutch mislynch down the line?

How about no?

Look at Stefl responses? Doesn't have the sense of urgency. No motivation whatsoever and the only reason he will be lynch is he was lurking and he even admitted it.

VOTE STEFL JESUS CHRIST

This was intended for the quote of "even if i do vote, he won't reach the 6 required", not this post.

to put it out there:
