current gen, the Beta will be PC, X360, PS3, (buying MoH will grant access to the beta on the same platform) but there will probably be a Wii U version of the final game at least in the way of next gen. And if other next gen consoles are released then BF4 will be on them as well, same with CoD, Watch Dogs etc.

Sony and Microsoft probably aren't very close to releasing any sort of 8th gen console. Consumers are happy with PS3/360 and Move/Kinect is their 'next gen'.



     
Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.

Yeah, besides the fact sales are down to the lowest levels in almost a decade and developers are pratically begging for new consoles, everyone is happy.

Thankfully the signs are MS and Sony aren't stupid enough to carry on with this line of thought.

This is how I read it as well until I realized it was poorly written. I also don't care much for EA on the Wii as I play all their games on my PC anyways.
