So my PS3 has been acting up, I can have it on like 15 ~ 25 minutes and then the power cuts down.. it doesn't matter what I'm doing, gaming, browsing the PSN store, watching special movies, just leaving it on the menu and it cuts out.. completly, I actually have to plug out and plug in the Powercord to get it back working.. I know it isn't overheating cause I tried it in the middle of the night when it's colder... So I googled a bit and found this solution:

which basicly is adjusting 2 trimpots (the 2 white things with the green line) that protect the Power Supply (model APS-250) inside the PS3 Slim, the OCP (Over Current Protection) and PFC (Power Factor Correction) and turn them 10 degrees to the left...
does anyone know if this actually works or will I in the end blow everything up??
