Really though, freakin want Cloud. I know there are still more char reveals left but I feel like they are just disregarding a huuuuge part of Playstation history (jrpgs). The fact they had to throw Toro in to please the Japanese audience is worrying. Don't get me wrong I like Toro, but I felt like he and Heihachi were only included to be like "Hey Japan, uhm, here".

My dream team...

We already know Fat Princess is one of them right? Or are you saying 3 unrevealed female characters in addition to FP.

Anyway OT not at all surprising that Cole and Jak are on the roster, but good to have them confirmed 100%. Cole, one of gthe great new characters this gen, Jak very much competing with Ratchet as the "mascots" of PS2 gen. Of course Daxter and Clank are the actual mascots, and they each got their own spin off game; Daxter wins that match up with the more critically acclaimed game.

Nariko would be a huge asset, especiall because the half of the world never even heard of her.

I can't see Tifa being in it over Cloud or Sephiroth. They've been using the main (or at least most visible) characters in all the IP's, we haven't yet seen two characters from the same series.

I can't see Kat being in it either. I know everyone's getting excited about it but idk, she's brand new and her IP just isn't selling that well. Heavenly Sword was quite a big early part of the PS3 but not everyone remembers Nariko, and unless Sony turn GR into a brand then it'll probably be the same with that too.

That's not to say I wouldn't like to see Nariko, Kat and Tifa, I just can't see it happening :P

I see what you are saying. And as much as I love Tifa I'm just worried that due to the lack of female and jrpg characters on the roster, they might decide to kill two birds with one stone :P

Yeah, I know what you mean,  but it literally would be adding her just for the sake of adding a woman.  Cloud and Seph are much more important to the story, much more central to the series.  It would be like adding Peach to the original Super Smash instead of Mario, just to have a woman on the roster (luckily, Nintendo had Samus!)

Also, I'd imagine Tifa's fighting style would be a bit boring and clash with Heihachi.  Hand-to-hand fighting at what not.  Having Cloud mess someone up with Buster Sword or Sephiroth with Murasame would open up a lot more possibilities and Superbot did say something like they were adding characters which could have potentially fun movesets rather than just adding for the sake of it.

So the other half has? Wow, that's amazing. And here was I thinking Mario was poular.

Not that i'm saying the game would be bad if there weren't any FF characters, but it would be ignoring such a huge and iconic (especially for ps1 and ps2) franchise.

Just give me Rose from Legend of Dragoon & i'll be more than happy.
