Looking for a budget lcd hd tv for my Wii (and 360 but that'll run on anything), this will be for the living room and I cant decide which to get as you hear so many horrow stories about ghosts nad motion blur.

 Anyone help?  perhaps you have a cheap HD Tv you use with the Wii you can recommend me to

If you can get your hands on a good HD CRT, that would be the best for both the Wii and watching DVDs since they can display 480p content without upscaling. I bought a 32'' CRT and I'm very happy with it. Of course, they're heavier and bigger, I don't know if that's a deal-breaker for you. BTW, even good HD CRTs are cheaper than LCDs or Plasmas of corresponding size.

Regarding LCDs and Plasmas, I don't know much about them so I'll leave it to other posters to inform you.

Does it matter I wont look any better.

Good advice, NJ5. Not sure about the Opening Poster, but size actually is a factor when buying a TV. I don't have the budget to do so, but if I did, I'd be searching for a nice, flat LCD/Plasma. Like I said, good advice nonetheless. =]

man, you have to pay over 800 dollars over there. that sucks. you could find one in the US for around 500.

there used to be a page on IGn many moons ago where it had a list of all LCD TV's and how good they were with the Wii, man wish i'd saved them pages cos I could really do with them right now.

WTF are you on about cathode ray tube displays at 480p and 480p isn't HD hd is 720p 108i or 1080p also 32" for a lounge is tiny   I've got a panasonic th42px70 which is lush honestly 480p what do you know
