You pay for Live to appear offline?...

i could see the appeal in this, i am so tired of getting COD invites, especially when i am clearly not playing COD! Im not going to stop playing SF to go play COD
Sony should add this as an option. That run around in the OP is just far too much of a hassle. I have a small list of friends, so it is not beneficial to me but I suppose those with massive friends lists who get bombarded with messages while playing would see a use in this feature. I wouldn't use it until Sony implements it properly and makes it a 1 or 2 step process, not something that makes the Konami code feel humble.

And that is why you are still being ripped off.

Well, I have like... 99 friends on my list, so, I should have room for one more. Feel free to add me, and I'll write you... lol. My username has an underscore, since spaces aren't allowed.
I've got mostly fighters, and PS3 exclusive titles... Actually, that's basically all I have... If it's not a fighter, it's an exclusive title. Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, Street Fighter X Tekken (which I wont be playing again until the 31st balance patch) Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown, Mortal Kombat, Tekken 6, Super Street Fighter 4, Blazblue Calamity Trigger, Continuum ShiftTekken 5: Dark Resurrection, Arcana Heart 3.
Games are arranged by skill level. But, if I arranged them based on how much I liked each game, things would be a lot different. I've got some other games too... most of them are in my collection, except maybe Catherine, and Killzone 3. My username's the same, by the way...
Anyway... You guys, what is the point in appearing offline to people? Why do you want to hide from anyone? 99 friends, and I'm rarely sent messages out of the blue. No one says hi to me when I log in, and if they did, what would be the problem with that?. I just feel no need to hide from users while online. If you don't want to recieve ANY sort of message, you can go to your personal privacy setting and disable incoming messages/friend requests.

At least we have each other on PSN! foreveralone.JPG

I doubt I'll ever need this trick as I don't have that many people on my list.. then again I have around 200 on ICQ and I never needed to use invisible mode there either (while others are always invis and have me on their visible list so I can see them when they are invis ... it's a strange world)
