Forums - Sony - Does Sony have what it takes to double-up with LittleBigPlanet Karting?

LBP going where Mario has gone, from platforming to karting.

Sony is known to have taken what Nintendid and give you twice that. i.e rumble in controllers, Sony give you dual shock. Analog stick, Sony give you dual analog.

Is Sony up to the job of giving you twice what Nintendo gave you in karting, against Mario Kart?

The game itself will probably have more features, better online....etc. But what it lacks is the charm of a legendary character called Mario.

TBH, I would be surprised if it hits 1mil before the end of the year.

LittleBigQuadDash.

4 ≈ One

I'm not quite sure I understand your analogy, since both those things were about hardware rather than software.

This would be Sony's second attempt at mascot-kart-racing anyway, and their first (CTR) was pretty damn good.

I for one loved modnation racers and the only thing that sucked was the loading times. Sackboy mixed with modnation racers is just pure win for me since I want a mario kart experience from n64 days.

There second would probably be the failed Modnation Racer. Which was basically LBP without Sackboy. And we all know how that turned out

Crash Team Racing was twice as good as Mario Kart 64. It's been done before. It can be done again.

Mario 64 was totally broken, though.

There's something wrong with using hardwares as examples?

If CTR was "damn good", why didn't Sony put out a sequel?
