i finished infamous 2 evil ending and saints row the third most recently and while i'd say i didn't find the ending of saints row to have much of an impact id say the opposite for infamous 2 ( i honestly didn't see that last twist coming )

1985-1995 : short endings (with a few exceptions)
1996-2005: long endings (with a few exceptions)
2006- : extremely short ending...

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing (mostly)
