Holy shit, Nintendo have done it again! I had a black 3DS but now I will be selling it. 90% bigger screen? Awesome! I was always complaining how small the screens were!

And anyone seriously expecting a second nub is out of their mind. No game will ever require the second nub, so why make the system have it? 


Kid Icarus needed one. Monster Hunter 4 needs one. Pretty much any serious game with a free form camera, IE not rails games.

And yes the size flies in the face of anyone who complained about the size of the vita, which _does_ fit in pockets. This one will too unless you are shorter than 5 feet tall.

None of the games needed the add-on. I'm playing KI perfectly fine without it. It's an add-on, and not needed. Besides, that's 2 games, so it's better to buy a cheap add-on, rather than buy an entirely new console for the second nub when you won't use it 95% of the time.

I've played my 3DS for nearly 700 hours, and never felt like I needed it. Same with the DS, and that didn't have any!

You're thinking I meant needed one as in would not work without one. What im really saying is that I tried KI and could not continue after more than 2 hours into the game because it was just so clunky and horrid. MH4 would be the same. After playing MHFU on my vita I refuse to ever go back to playing with the claw. 

For me the reason DS was fine (aside from the fact that I still hate Duel Screens) is I could never really play more than mario or zelda or crap touch screen games on my DS. If I wanted something serious that required finer control, I had to play my PSP. The same would be for the 3DS vs PSV. But since I got burned with the DS and the Wii, i'm pretty much done with Nintendo.

the DS didnt really have games that needed a 2nd stick or even one for that matter, there were the CODs but those sucked. Mario 64 controlled like crap. But those were few and far inbetween, the thing about 3DS is they are trying to get games that would be better suited for two nubs or sticks. RE, MGS, etc. I never played KI some say its ok without it, some people say it sucks. Dont know who to believe, ill just avoid it. OOT3d controlled ok, but MGS3d and RE R, were crap IMHO. THe only game im looking forward to that uses the 2nd nub is KH. and if its anything like the PSP one, itll be fine without

Yeah, this was THE chance for Nintendo to include the 2nd analog stick. Bigger 3DS=more space for the stick! I guess they wanna earn some money in Japan by selling the 2nd analog stick to Monsta Hunta players.

It's releasing same day with New Super Mario Bros 2 and Brain age 3 - This is going to be huge!

Bad news is that in America there'll be only 2 colors available at launch. Red/Black and Blue/Black. They're probably saving the white for christmas...

I won't get a better chance of buying it, so I guess I'll get the blue one, since my 3DS is red already.

I am sure Gamestop will run an offer such as, trade your 3DS plus $150 for a 3DSXL and kids will run like crazy to do it and next day we'll see those Traded 3ds on sale "pre-owned" for $149.99 then they'll realize that GameStop just made $300 on a $199 console XD
