The nominees: Gravity Rush, Dragon's Dogma, Mass Effect 3, Resident Evil Revelations, Max Payne, and The Witcher 2.

I haven't finished Witcher 2 or Max Payne 3, so they're out. Dragon's Dogma sucked me in more than any title this year but it had some serious issues. Thant narrows it down to ME3, RE:R, and Grav Rush. Of those three, only Mass Effect 3 made me play religiously until I got to the final credits.

I gotta give it to ME:3

*edit* I also got Xenoblade but I couldn't nominate it because it's for the Wii. Automatic disqualification.

Mass Effect 3 despite my rather big dislike for the Ending...

That is why Mass Effect 3 is a 9.9 game for me. It is such an incredible game that just delivers until we reach the ending. Maybe the Extended Cut could bump it to a 10/10 game for me.

Mass Effect 3 : the only 2012 game that I have played so far. A step down on the great ME2 and finished with a disappointing ending. ME3 is the worst game of the ME trilogy.

I am looking forward to Halo 4 and Gears of War: Judgement.

If you have a friend who has the game, I recommend you borrow it for a few days before you buy it. Just make sure the controls feel alright to you. They feel completely fine to me and everyone I've met in person who's played the game, but you can't be sure you won't find the game downright unplayable like Jim Sterling.

Binary Domain, followed by Final Fantasy XIII-2.

It's been a poor year, imo, but I haven't played Max Payne 3 yet and refuse to play ME3. I also haven't played Devil Survivor 2 yet which is weird for me considering how much I love the series.

So far, XenoBlade....but I haven't played any other 2012 games. Mass Effect 3, Pokemon B/W2, Halo 4, The Last Story and Pikmin 3 look pretty cool though.
