they are going to partner with verizon and require a 2 year contract and data charges for time spent playing online.

While I believe the next Xbox will launch at $400 with Kinect (2), I also believe that Microsoft will launch with a $99 bundle subsidized over 3 years.

$99 up front, $15 a month (Xbox LIVE) for 36 months.
