So you all support people illegally coming in to the country without any penalty, and the people who legally try to come here, it's fair that they're stuck in a line for years at a time, and sometimes never get in? That is outrageous. How do you reconcile that?

No, I don't support that. The immigration system needs to be massively reformed so that just about everyone can get in legally, so long as they don't have a history of violence, or whatever.

Not everyone's always going to be able to get in.  We have our limits.  Schools and hospitals along the southern border are going broke giving free services to illegals.  Immigration is never going to be fair, because some who don't deserve to come in will get in, and some who do deserve to won't be able to.   There's never going to be a good answer that satisfies everyone.  We can't take everybody.

Like I said in the previous post, the (UK)/USA don't have immigration problems, they have welfare problems. Take the welfare out of the schools/hospitals, and they won't go broke, in fact, they'd thrive with greater immigration.

The US is a melting pot and quite good at integrating immigrants and this amnesty is peanuts compared to the amnesty Obama originally proposed so it's not a big deal. But it's an entirely different thing in Europen countries who are losing their identity and stability due to mass immigration.

Sweden had a more general amnesty around 5 years ago (not just kids but all illegal families allowed to stay) and it sent the wrong signal to luck seekers around the world. Immigration to Sweden is now record high.

And in Sweden and other European countries they're always called "paperless" instead of illegal immigrants just to brainwash the people.
