The thing is that the Twitter was in response to someone makin a comment that the PS4 was less powerful than Wii U. So, the discussion became PS4 vs WiiU, eventhough there is no PS4 out there at all for this. Now, if the discussion were Orbis (the codename for the project) vs WiiU, then yes, the Orbis should be more powerful than the WiiU. Question is whether or not this power will be sufficiently noticable to get people to get it instead of a WiiU. We could be hitting a spot where such returns won't be sufficient to make a difference. As of now, on the portable front, the Vita is more powerful than the 3DS, but the 3DS is dominating it, because of price first and foremost.

We don't know the price of the Wii U, and certainly don't know what the next Playstation console will be or the price it will launch at. I personally try to avoid prediction business, because no one gives me even a cookie if I am right on the Internet, and doesn't pay me to be as wrong as Pachter is. So, I try to avoid it. All you do is look bad. Of course, there is a perverse one where you predict the worse and take comfort in knowing you were right about worst case scenarios. I still find that means you end up with a a pile of sux in the end.
