I know but it was so perfect that it had to be used second time!
Especially when it comes to smaller European countries MS completely neglects them when it comes to Live services.

Well what would Microsoft have to show at gamescon? Nothing at all! maybe a few trailers for upcoming games. Sony on the other hand need to have a conference for the vita! i hope this will be it!!!

I was there twice on a Saturday (2 years ago and in Leipzig 2007) and those days were horrible. Just go on another day if you can manage that. I planned to go on a Thursday last year but I had no ride to Cologne and going alone sucks. |
I didn't make these pics. I have been in Leipzig a couple of times, but not in cologne. And yeah I have been there quite on a friday, saturday and sunday.
Where are you from? Maybe we can go together 2013. I won't attend 2012 without MS and Nintendo. If they are back next year, I might go.
Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

yup,just like nintendo |
MS is at a disadvantage in Europe and Japan.
Game Shows like TGS and gamescom are important to have a presence, to make announcements. If you leave them, you possibly show your disinterest. Some people (like me ;) ) will coonstrue it this way.

Basically a radio station and stuff that is free and works better on a web browser.

| VicViper said: What was announced in Gamescon last year? People say it's big, but I don't remember it being big - especially with new things. Someone educate me, please |
Not positive, but I know that this is the show Sony used to unveil the PS3 slim.
I believe Gamescom is also where Sony first showed Escape Plan and the PS3 price cut. Other than the price cut however it was fairly Vita focused, which is what I expect for this year's event as well.
Gamescom seems to be more focused with hands-on stuff for the attending crowd and some hardware announcements rather than full blown reveals for new titles, even though they do sometimes make an appearance.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
Currently playing:
Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

haha
Who cares about those shows, they´ve add nothing to the system last years.
Microsoft will not be at CES aswell.
Microsoft doesnt need those events, they are already too big just like Apple they will hold their own events.
Altough this probably means they are just focusing on Next Xbox now and 360 doesnt matter much to them.anymore.

in Japan yes but not europe
on 3rd place doesn't mean it's a flop
and do you really think it's still important?look at E3
MS will just host their own private conference and not have their thunder stolen by anybody else. All 3 companies have done this before
