We're currently immitating NintendoLand in the form of The Sims series. Another Translation: Shovelwares in the works... in glorious HD!

@ The bolded, that's Ubisoft.

Around the Network

Simple things I'd like on EA Sports series:

Madden NFL: Please have playbooks on GamePads.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour: Wii Remote+ (golf club) w/GamePad support (golf ball view)
Live/Elite: Draw plays during timeouts on GamePad
NHL: Line changes with a single touch on the GamePad
NASCAR: GamePad gyroscope for driving, rearview mirror and pit stop on GamePad
MVP Baseball: Bring it back

Not based on Ubisoft's launch lineup.

Comparing Ubisoft's launch lineup to its Wii launch lineup, you can see that they're making a much better effort, this time around. They have pretty much all of their top-selling franchises, and the only 2012 games that aren't literally "shovelware" that aren't confirmed to be coming to the system are Brothers in Arms and Far Cry... BiA has never sold more than 1 million copies on any platform, and Far Cry has only ever had one hit (Far Cry 2).

While I certainly expect a Sims series type shovelware title some time soon for the Wii U, I don't expect it at launch. It'll probably be released around June 2013.
