An extended version of Halo 4's E3 trailer will air for the first time on TV tonight during England's Euro 2012 match with France.

It'll be shown on ITV at approximately 5.45pm.

According to Microsoft: "The stunning live-action trailer gives a tantalising glimpse into the "Halo 4" storyline and shows the Master Chief on the planet Requiem, about to face an unknown and terrifying threat that sits at the heart of the Halo 4 campaign."

Set for release worldwide on November 6, 2012, Halo 4 is the first game in the franchise not to be developed by series creator Bungie. We went hands-on with the 343 Industries developed shooter at E3 - check out what we thought of it in this Halo 4 preview.

Looks like the MS advertising machine is gearing up! Halo 4 is probably going to have the most advertising of any game ever (either that or tied with COD)

Was a nice advert but it was only till the last few seconds you realised it was advertising halo 4.. Should've showed some in game footage.
