That's good news, now the two biggest third party holiday juggernauts are on Wii U.

BTW...
COD + 2D Mario

People are free to not like it, but never in history such sales power was available at launch.

Nice to hear, though I'll probably still get it for 360 if only because my friends will be playing on Xbox live.

I never played cod, but I presume from your comment that every console have a separate online, am I right? it's something activision decide?

The console makers decide this, and never shall it be any different.

The only game that I am aware of that ever had cross platform multiplayer was FFX XI as an online MMO, but even then, I am not sure.

I already figured this.

All big 3rd party games will continue to be on WiiU for as long as possible, unless they are of course moneyhatted and exclusive to one or the other consoles.

My bigger question would be if they will include the wiimote code? I'd definitely buy it if so. Maybe use the gamepad in a dock as a map and menu screen with wiimotion controls for everything else. They already have and build the code for Wii, so I don't see why not.

Still not enough to make me buy a Wii-U, but I'm very pleased for potential owners with this news.

Treyarch have always been very kind to Nintendo, making all the CoD games available on the Wii (and even working on the port of Modern Warfare), so I wouldn't be surprised if Black Ops 2 made it across.

And finally, a proper version, rather than an underwhelming port.

I am curious, what would convince you to buy the Wii U? (No pun intended) I know it is a matter of opinion but to me, its seems like a very decent launch and with rumors about the price being between 299-350$, it's day one for me! ;)

Firsty party stuff.  I've been waiting 8 years for Pikmin 3 and I am DESPERATE to play it, but one game isn't enough to make me buy the console.  The rest of these games - Mass Effect, Black Ops, Batman - I can already play on the PS3.

Once they get a combination of 3D Mario, Battallion Wars, Star Fox, F-Zero, Metroid or something else out, I'd consider buying it.
