It's Squere Enix, why make a new name when you have a franchise that can be whatever they want it to be? It's a good franchise for a next gen showcase anyway given the heritage of the last couple gens, I mean this looks like their CGI from last gen.

Oh wow, I'd love to see that world. If they made a game like this my faith in the Final Fantasy series would without a doubt be restored.

I sure hope you're right, because I honestly didn't expect CG level graphics in real-time on next-gen hardware. But if this is how it turns out, it's gonna be really exciting.

The FFVII real time tech demo was a PS3 demo with as much detail as you can put into a single scene on the PS3 without to many set pieces. Not what you would realistically be able to do if you wanted a large number of set pieces.

This however is a completely different story, the real time here has thousands of active characters at any given time and looks like a CGI from this generation. If this is indeed the true power of what the PS4/720/Next-Gen PC's can handle...than WOW huge, huge, huge, HUGE processing boost from this gen to the next.

Were talking around 16 Gigs of Ram for this to be even remotely possible, let alone the GPU/CPU.
