Watch E3 2001. THAT'S how you introduce the world to new hardware. Great sequels, a new IP, and long list of AAA titles to look forward too. |
Maybe you're right. So 2001 conference was their best and perhaps this time they screwed up. But now that Wii U is official and now that 3rd parties actually LIKE and SUPPORT Wii U, (Mass Effect 3, Batman, etc) you can't tell me that this isn't Nintendo's most exciting platform in years, even moreso than the Cube!
NINTENDO
nintendo forever . . .

um, personally i don't get overhyped, i've been watching E3 since 2007 and i know what to expect and what not to, and this year was the worst i've seen
don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

Agree? Disagree? I'd like to read your thoughts... |
i won't get to watch the nintendo conference until later tonight but ...
..100% agree with you. MS and sony had good conferences. I'm sure nintendo's was good as well. people have to stop judging this thing against their dreams...
the conference was nice, lacked content, disappointing, yes, bad, hell no
also we all know 1st party titles are coming sooner or later, dont worry and buy the system

Isnt that just a service similiar to Home? |
No. It is a game. It has 12 minigames based on old Nintendo Franchises, some of which look like a good crack. Also Game and Wario looks pretty neat as well - though its not a new IP.
Yes.

I laughed through most of the MS conference, mostly during the stuff I found uninteresting, like kinect (which I have and dislike) and the other non-game things, but how would peoples perception change if those opening trailers happened at the end? If it was ended on a high note, would the conference have been perceived better?
Same would go for Nintendo, if NintendoLand was not at the end, but say they ended with Pikmin 3 and some other things they started with, how would it have been perceived?
My theory is that they decided to only show what is coming this year to the console, but i think that was a huge mistake
no they didn't, don't play it off and I'm a nintendo fanboy to the "T" and that conference was largely crap.
