Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo had a good conference! Stop over-hyping ourselves!

The tears are flowing.

I'm looking at it and thinking this is probably the most balanced launch line-up that Nintendo have ever delivered.

I know there's a couple of ports and the odd multi-platform in there, but the titles are broad and look like a lot of fun. I think they should have shown a little more of the asymmetrical stuff, however.

Yes.

This is just covering your bases. If Nintendo's E3 had been everything you ever wanted, you would've have gladly accepted the overhyped-ness of Nintendo fans, maybe even become more overhyped yourself.

OF COURSE!! But that's because we fans have a sense of pride! We predict stuff, if they come true, we're happy af

NINTENDO

nintendo forever . . .

No price, not launch date, and a bunch of games that were either tottally lacklusters or already confirmed. It wasn't disastrous, but it wasn't the best conference either.

What worries me most is the graphics, I'm not a graphic whore but seeing pikmin3 I now doubt about the power of the console, or if nintendo will ever care to exploit it's console graphical power.

3DS FC :  4339 - 3326 - 7693. Add me :) Nickname Tin

I think it was a pretty lame conference, but I didn't overhype it. It was exactly the level I was expecting it to be. I still got excited in hopes that there would be surprises, but I really wasn't expecting any. But it really wasn't a good conference even if you expecting nothing from it, it was still a pretty bad conference.

My thoughts? your thoughts suck.

Nintendo had the most to prove and the energy going in and they took it nowhere. Theres a reason why no one cares about Batman or Mass Defect... They already came out and industry has moved forward and wont stop for a port.

Luckily they showed the Mario games and Pikman. Take that away what was Nintendo's E3 about? I cant believe Star Fox and Metroid weren't there..no new IP either. This wasn't just another E3 for Nintendo. This is a proper new Hardware presentation.

Isnt that just a service similiar to Home?

I could have been happy with another zelda movie, whether it was real or not.

Even a name and logo would've had me jumping out my chair but no -_-

At least tomorrow we'll have a new million seller 3DS game in japan + a conference (nothing really new, I suppose)

That will help cure e3 hangover a bit.

Interesting. Let me ask you a question. What did Nintendo promise us?

Oh, I'm not concerned about Nintendo developing great games for the Wii U.
However, if they aren't shown at the E3 press conference, they certainly do not count towards to the quality of the conference. And this conference really needed a shot in the arm, preferably at the very end.

Agreed. It started off well, then they turned off the movie right when it was about to build to climax again.

I'll say this, I held off on Mass Effect 3 becuase I refuse to have it on Origin, I wanted it on Steam, this atleast will be a day 1 purchase for me
As for Batman, I knew it was coming out and stopped playing my 360 version of it, sold it, I'll be getting it as well. Not into Zombie's, Mario rules the world to, I am disappointed Colonial Marines was delayed, but Assassins Creed 3 may be the first one I pick up since 2 on my PS3. Never played a pikmin game, but may give it a shot, and as for the rest, it all looks interesting, for my household it all looks viable, especially NintendoLand (something we parents can enjoy with the kids especially or others).
