For me Nintendo had the worst conference.

Where are the core Nintendo games, Stafox, Metroid Prime, new IPs. We got nothing!

It's was their's to lose and they lost it.

Mario and Pikmin are enough, Nintendo doesn't put out 5 games a year anyway. Usually they put out one or two big releases and a few smaller ones. Especially since they've taken for years now a stance of not anouncing games until they're almost done.

They're not enough for me. Nintendo showed more casual games then they did core games. Words can't express how dissapointed I am.

I'm an advocate for motion controls, Nintendo, and Kicking freaking Toad to the Moon!

I believe it was good, but the ending was awful.
Is like trying to end with WonderBook. Also, i must say that Nintendo's E3 is still far from over with tomorrow's 3DS show.

And, with: Reggie's quotes "Yes, my body is ready", "Wii U supports 2 Gamepads", Pikmin 3 and New Super Mario Bros U i believe it was a solid show. But it missed a closer: one of the rumored MMORPG or Retro's/Monolith's proyect.

But to the mainstream Nintendo presented several games, but i was prepared for a showcase of core games

I thought this show was Nintendos for the taking, but they were just poor IMO. Most third party games were games that have been released already on ps3/Xbox/pc, or will be releasing at the same time. It was more mario and a lot of stuff seemed the same as was what was on the wii, but with a few more gimmicks. (Nintendo land, wii fit u etc). I don't think they will have convinced the hardcore that the wii u will compete with the new play station and Xbox.

Completly agree with you.

Yeah, it was underwhelming, but still alright. They should've literally stole the show being the only company with new hardware... I was so excited when Reggie said "23 Wii U games" but a lot of them were ports we knew of and casual games. Ugh.

Nintendo seems to have done nothing since last year in terms of game development, and they seem to have got no more support from third parties since last year.

I predict terrible press coverage leading up to the launch this holiday.

I'm fine. I have a PC and other consoles to keep me content, if the Wii U won't give me what I want. I had trouble keeping up with releases this last year, Skyrim and Zelda month was crazy. I'm very busy, and I really don't have the time nor resources to put into 5 games. Pikmin and Mario are fine, especially when there are a few third party games I'm interested in. Also, I don't realy like the term casual, as I found the mini-games implemented to be quite interesting. I could see my mother and I, or even some casual friends at a party, playing the luigi mansion mini-game, it seemed to have a decent amount of depth. So as far as titles go, I have Dishonored, War Dogs, Mario, Pikmin, Elder Scrolls Online, Skyrim expansions, and various 3ds games to look forward to for certain, with plenty of other games I'm  contemplating getting. My problem isn't a lack of games, but a lack of time. So overall, not only am I fine with Nintendo only announcing two games, but it's actually preferable. If Nintendo is your only video game company, I'd consider revising such a decision. Games are too spread out over platforms these days to own one console and enjoy it all.

What is all this about Nintendo being underwhelming??!?
I thought they killed it.

i was more excited to buy a WiiU before I watched the conference. The conference left a bad taste in my mouth. They have had so much time to get some stuff to reveal to us. I think Nintendo land will be great, but to end on that? are you serious? so dissappointed.

Well this is depressing. I just saw a list of games that were shown at the E3 before the Wii's launch. Apparently it was:
Zelda: Twilight Princess
Metroid Prime 3
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Wario Ware Touched
Wii Sports

That's 4 BIG core titles, a very high quality mini-game collection and the new casual experience of Wii sports.

I do wonder if Nintendo's attitude in the last few years of only wanting to show games close to release has messed them up. They really needed to show some games that are outside the launch window for Wii U. Coming out next year etc.

I think had they shown Retro's title, switched NSMB-Wii U with 3D mario and perhaps shown a tease for Monolith's game then they could have wowed people. Still not really sure why we are getting two 2d mario games so close to each other. Seems the 2d one for 3ds and 3d for Wii U would have made much more sense.

Turkish says and I'm allowed to quote that: Uncharted 3 and God Of War 3 look better than Unreal Engine 4 games will or the tech demo does. Also the Naughty Dog PS3 ENGINE PLAYS better than the UE4 ENGINE.
