I noticed that as well, and it makes me happy! Devs should copy fun games. Quality games! I hope zelda will do this as well in moderation.

I hope you're joking. If not, consider yourself defriended.

So you are saying you loved Skyward Sword, but you hated Uncharted 3?

I don't want Uncharted Zelda.

Uncharted started off like Tomb Raider but quickly veered in a new style in its sequels. I have tomb raider anniversary and Uncharted 3 and both play very different. I love Uncharted for its hectic gunplay and cinematic events but I also like Tomb raider for its exploration and puzzles. I really don't like what Tomb Raider is turning into. I was really grating my teeth at having to listen to Croft gasp, moan, and cry during the demo. I doubt I could take that for the entire game.

The things happening to her just seem too unbelievable that she can get up from it. In Uncharted Nate is a semi muscular guy who looks like he can take some damage and keep going. In most of the events in Uncharted 2 and 3 dangerous things were happening around him but he wasn't actually getting directly injured just pushed around. Nate just has a lot of close calls so when he gets up from one of these encounters the required suspension of disbelief is reasonable. Once I fell 15 ft. and hit the ground I was withering in pain for 5 minutes with a broken arm yet this girl falls gets stabbed and even steps in a bear trap and keeps going. There’s just a little too much suspension of disbelief for me. Nate doesn’t die from his adventures because of his durability and dumb luck. Lara gets through on her adventures based on her athletic skills and intelligence.

I bet most people who loved Uncharted wouldn’t like the original Tomb Raider. I’ve just about had my fill of the uncharted formula and I’ve already set Last of Us to be my last game of that style. If anything the new Tomb Raider will allow Xbox only gamers to have a taste of what they were missing from the Uncharted series.

The Last Of Us doesn't appear to be like Uncharted. Unlike Uncharted, TLoU will have no health regen & ammo will be rare, so excessive shooting won't be present.

I did say "in moderation". Here and there, would be fun to add to the game. I still want Zelda, but a few of those really exciting Uncharted moments would not hurt anything.

No. There are better ways for Nintendo to make Zelda better.

Just because Uncharted is enjoyable for what is it doesn't mean elements of it should be copied into Zelda. just because something fits well into one game doesn't automaticallymean it  goes well with another game.

Zelda is not meant to be anything like Uncharted. Two very different gameplay philosophies.

You should be ashamed! Ashamed!

I've always thought that the Uncharted style of platforming would do well in a Zelda game - make Link as nimble as Drake with his leaps and hanging off ledges - would open up the possibilties in dungeons for sure.

Yes I've also noticed it. I also think it's going to make these games better, especially Tomb Raider. Look at how crappy Underworld was and how amazing it looks now!

Most probably it looks great simply because they have decided to invest some more money in the project.

I couldn't see what the game looked like since there was so much dirt and water on the screen.

It's sad many games are being influenced by Uncharted. Lots of scripted gameplay and QTEs. Uncharted is killing gaming.
