Yeah, I was stoked when I first read this on Gaf, Valhalla is a great map. Come to think of it, I really like most of Halo 3's maps.

Yeah, that's the video with the mech walking in it. Actually it's captured in the gif, pretty cool.

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

Damn, it looks like it might actually be fun to be a Zombie this time, I may even play the shit.

Microsoft studio 343 Industries, in conjunction with Anderson Merchandisers, is releasing its upcoming webseries Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn on Blu-ray. The series will premiere on Halo Waypoint and Machinima.com on October 5th, arrive weekly for five weeks, and ultimately arrive on Blu-ray on December 4th.

The live-action movie, which acts as a prequel to the popular Halo videogame series, was made to "make Halo accessible for people who haven't played the games," says 343 Industries' Franchise Business Management Director, Matt McCloskey. Of course Halo's Master Chief makes his presence known in the film, played by Daniel Cudmore (Colossus, X2: X-Men United) and voiced, as always, by Steve Downes.

In 2525, as mankind has begun to colonize space, a group of cadets are training to fight against human insurrectionists. One of these cadets, Thomas Laskey, has doubts about his abilities as a soldier and his convictions for this war. Whilst he struggles with himself, the planet is invaded by an unknown alien race. Reeling under the assault, Laskey and his squad mates are rescued by John-117, one of the UNSC's legendary SPARTAN-II super-soldiers. John must inspire Laskey to fulfill his potential as a soldier and a leader to fight against an enemy deadlier than any that humanity has faced before.

No word on any of the Blu-ray edition's special features or technical specifications as of yet.

Damn, I wanna wait soooo bad and just watch it when it comes out on BR but I also wanna see it soooooo bad that I won't wait. At least I hope whatever extra episode that comes on the LE will be on the BR. I've decided to pass on the special edition this time around.

Also, I didn't think Downes was doing the voice for the movie.

Man, I have been waiting for a proper flood mode ever since Halo: CE. Glad to see they are taking steps in the right direction!

Still, my ideal flood mode would contain marines and flood spores. Hopefully they will develop this idea further...unless they already have but haven't showed us anything yet.

Have you said this before?

Uh, I don't think so? That would require me to have heard these news before :P

On another note: HOLY SHIT THE NEW VALHALLA LOOKS AMAZING!

Must be something VERY similar to a comment I read on Gaf. Either that, or I just had a dream of you saying it, a premonition. Who knows, I've been reading SOOOOO much Halo 4 stuff lately.
