Spelled Dishonoured wrong brah :p

Saw trailer a few months back, was very surprised with it. Although it looks a bit generic, the story may hold some potential.

lol

how doesit look generic o.O it has a medevil-modern french feel with multiple ways of tackling missions you can freeze time and you can shop people all in 1st person.

Not the combat itself, but the story was pretty bland, big bad guy, owning teh poor, you're some vigilante trying to bring the man down. Been done a million times.

uncharted:  some dude going after a treasure faces a bad guy beats him.

mass effect: aliens are going to attack/are attacking defend the world

assasins creed : some group wants to get super weapons to dominate the world stop them

its not the original basis of the story that counts but the way its executed and told.

All 3 of which have been told way before 2012. This game is coming out 5 years later, and comes bearing the same crap, can't help but be skeptical, really hard to do something original that will stand out anymore.

i dont find these bases to be crap, also such concepts have been around for more then 2000 years in myths, novels and books and like i said before its how you present the story that makes it good not it basic principal.

Being in 3rd place never felt so good

Surprised by how good Hitman looks. When they showed it the first time (some office scene I think) it looked a bit limited and stiff. Here it looks free with room for improvisation. That could all be an illusion though due to heavy scripting and the game fluidly serving the gamer with all the opportunities to assassinate (it bothers me that I usually have to find out these things by myself, most reviewers don't care). Hopefully they rely on good AI rather than just scripts. Also 5 difficulty levels is a good thing.

Dishonored is the real thing although that trailer was overly melodramatic and pretentious and bordering the pathetic. Also it was unnessecarily cinematic instead of having the balls to show uninterrupted gameplay.
