Who remembers this moment of awesome from the PSOne days?

I remember spending about an hour after I first got my PSOne just messing with this guy and the slightly less cooler Manta.

I think the best part of it for me was the music, it had a sense of tension and excitement rolled into one and being able to manipulate that T-rex and zoom in on it was something special. I particularly liked positioning the camera behind the T-Rex to make it look like I was riding on its back...ah fun times!

Seriously? This videos not appearing lark ruins a nice thread. It appears in previews and edits but not in actual threads, it's really frustrating.

I would really love a WII-U/PS4/720 version of this, I think it would be breath taking

I could of sworn I saw something similar to this in Tomb Raider...or was it another game...maybe I am confusing it with Turok?

Edit: But would love to see how this would look like with next gen graphics! Hopefully there will be a showcase of the graphics in some form at this year's E3 for next gen.

Yep it was Tomb Raider, quite the surprise first time playing that.

The bats were already scary back then. The trailing 3rd person camera was brilliant. It never got stuck and it worked perfectly to scare the crap out of you when it caught up around a corner just in time to see yourself running straight into a bear.
