Forums - General - Looks like it's hay fever season again

Do you suffer from hay fever?

Yes, quite badly 5 41.67%

Yeah, a little 1 8.33%

Nope 4 33.33%

What's hay fever!? 2 16.67%

Total:12

Like the 10-25% of those living in western counties who suffer from hay fever, I've just entered the time of sneezing, red eyes, blocked noses and itchy throats. Living next to a field, I dread this time of year, and try to stay indoors as much as possible :P

Do any of you suffer from hay fever? Let's see if VGChartz is above or below the average for hay fever sufferers.

You live next to a field? Do you live on the Moors?

Nah, my house just backs onto a field owned by a farmer :P Living on the Moors would be cool though - it'd be like Wuthering Heights :D

It would be like all those creepy English movies and shows of the 80's and 70's where people went on the moors, but never came back. I picture living there in the 1800's and just thinking that there was nothing else beyond England. Everything always seems to be in a fog there. Must feel weird to live there.

I've been on the yorkshire moors before, and the fog can be pretty incredible - very spooky

I rarely get any kind of cold/fever. I've probably had one in about five years. lol

I do get hay fever, but my symptoms have become milder and milder over the years, I barely noticed it the last couple of years. This year I have noticed it a bit more, occasional sneezing, and slightly blocked sinus feeling at night, but still not too bad.

When I was 5 I had a really bad reaction in France... someone was cutting the grass around the place we were staying and my eyes swelled up so much I couldn't see out of one of them, and barely out of the other.

Whut?

Pretty sure everyone in England in the 1800s knew about the rest of the world... so i'm not sure what you mean by that.

Not that I'm suggesting anything but weed, and sex really helps

I don't think I've ever actually had Hay Fever. Which is kind of a surprise.
