Because VITA is in dire need of some games and the Touch Screen would work really well with Heavy Rain

If the Vita needs more games, they would have to be new ones--exclusive ones--not ports, and certainly not a 2 year-old port.

Affirmative. Pointless to port a 2-and-a-half year title which will rake in little to no additional audience when the device needs new games to compliment a price reduction. If Cage really is about to unveil two games, I'm betting either both will be for PS3, one of them will be PS3 while the other is a Vita title (moderately unlikely), or a next gen title (highly unlikely).

Also, if they want to make you contort your hand like you have to on the PS3, there are going to be a lot of broken Vitas... so it would require a complete reworking of the controls, which isn't worth it given they have already done that for the move

As for the games he will reveal, I don't see why he would reveal 2 games if one of them wasn't some sort of spin-off downloadable game/Vita game, because I doubt Sony are going to announce a PS4 and there is no point announcing 2 games, unless maybe he wants to do something episodic?
