i dont know what steam is, but i dont give a fuck about it
Half life 1 was thousand times more revolutionary than 2, besides physics and the other crap you listed
Half life 2 has ridiculously simple level desing with annoying puzzles, and i never liked the checkpoint mechanics, the only great thing about Half life 2 were the graphics(werent that great either) and the story
far from revolutionary
I played on a PC at full , i got stuck and never cared finishing it,

So basically you didn't like it because you sucked at the game? Explains a lot, lol.

And if you played it without Steam (http://store.steampowered.com/) then I'm guessing you pirated it as that's the only way you could have played it on PC without it. I'm guessing you didn't actually play Half-Life 2 very much as the "checkpoint" mechanics were simply autosaving at set points. You could save your game at any point regardless. I also find it odd you didn't like the puzzles and level design considerring it was an evolution of the same design philosophy used in Half-Life 1 but utilising the new physics engine. Did the "simple" level design confuse you?

And when did I argue Half-Life 1 wasn't revolutionary?

Why do you not use the quote button?

You know, two posters (myself included) have already stated why Half-Life 2 was revolutionary. If you want to bury your head in the sand in ignorance then fine. I never even talked about the graphics, you did, so I guess that's all you care about. That's what's really sad, lol.

Out of interest, what game would you say was revolutionary then?

"i dont know what steam is, but i dont give a fuck about it"

lmao
