The last part where he mentions that "they continually lose massive amounts of money"? It's true, Sony has been losing lots of money. Why don't you believe that?

the ps3, as far as recent sales go is first place in sales, losing no money, and their franchises are stronger than they've ever been this gen, it's like the exact opposite of everything he said, which made it funny

They're still losing money though.

on TV's, natural disaters, and deffered tax credits

and if you don't know that has NOTHING to do with gaming

Nice troll thread. I seriously hope this is an attempt at trolling? otherwise it's worrying how much common sense you lack but if you think Sony is bad, I'd hate to see what you think of Microsoft. At least Sony has more than a few exclusive franchises and most of their studios they can count on.

Well actually some of that does. Their TV's, computers and gaming are part of the same division and saw a $2.8 billion loss in the last year, which included a drop in hardware sales for PS3, PSP, and PS2. Also, software sales for PSP and PS2 dropped (though expectedly). PS3 software sales were the only sales that went up. Also, speaking more recently, the Vita is having trouble picking up in sales, not to mention it's being sold at a loss.

Loss per unit x less units sold = LESS LOSS. Sony are geniouses.

apart of the same divison =/= gaming is losing money

add that to the fact that following those loses Sony broke up that division and put gaming all by itself and making it a core part of their business, now ask yourself, if that part of the division was losing money why would they do that?
