I didn't mean to start a flame war, I just kinda thought it was funny, and I posted it before really thinking about it, but like I said...

I realize that, which is why I let it slide with a simple comment.

But you do have to realize what these kinds of threads usually degenerate into, especially putting one in the MS forum...

lol, I just think its kinda funny that after Gates was saying the 360 will be the most reliable console, a 360 in a Best Buy store gets the RRoD. I won't blame the hardware entirely here, though, because apparently there was no ventilation, and the 360 manuel says it “'should be placed in a well ventilated area.'”

I wasn't saying the 360 is a bad piece of hardware, and though we have yet to see if the new consoles solve the problem, I would imagine the failure rate will drop dramatically. I actually haven't seen any dead consoles on display at any of my local electronics store. I just thought it was a funny coincidence is all.

You wern't? Then I'll say it for you: The 360 is a bad piece of hardware.

The 360 hardware reliability is a disgrace.

Nothing new here.

This means nothing, Ive seen a ton of PS3 demo kiosks not working and even Wiis not working. Hell, my gf works in the electronic department of a local target, and they've gone through 2 Wiis in the 3 months, and the PS3 is always locking up and having to be restarted. Demos get the shit beat out of them, simple as that.
