No, it's not a desperate move. They would probably have done it around now even if they were killing everyone else in terms of sales.

I haven't bought a Vita yet, but if it comes here I will take the white one ...

With the sales of the PS Vita not up to expectation, this is a smart move by Sony.

Sales in Japan have done pretty well, outside of Japan has not met the expectations

that Sony hoped for.  It may not be totally desperate but it sure wants to lure

customers to a buy PS Vita.

Why not put some games rather than give us shiny colours

I totally agree....there have been very little games I'm interested in,

the only game I'm really waiting for is PSO2.  Which won't come out

until next year.
