Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft Patents Pressure-Sensitive Controller With Built-In Memory

I am sorry Dave, I am afraid I cannot do that. Your 360 does not go off until you buy another 1,000 MS points.

Looking at the picture it looks like MS are trying to create a controller even bigger than the Duke. Or they're aiming this at little girls.

the controller is so big because it has a touch screen

Seems pointless. I assumed from title it meant the buttons were gonna be pressure sensitive like PS3s are.

They already are :)

They were on the original xbox, but not the 360.

No they are not.

Are you sure? Mister Shine, the triggers most definitely still are. I guess there really isn't a reason for the 4 face buttons to be. I can't think of any game experiences that require certain levels of pressure to the buttons.

Dead or Alive XBV on the xbox used them. The harder you hit the button, the harder they hit the ball.
