So, I was playing Sonic 3 and Knuckles the other day.. Today, I remembered something else... Pokemon games erasing... Can anyone tell me if the Sonic 3 cart has a battery in it, and, if I change the battery, will I lose my files?
I suppose I could take the thing out, and look, but, the screw is like an inverted torx, I think, and I don't know if I have anything like that... -____-
I'm not sure if the battery itself is preserving the file, or merely provides the charge to power the file, but it's almost certain Sega's battery backing won't live that long.
