Staying with Iphone 12 19.35%

Staying with other phone 15 24.19%

I'll be sticking with my Galaxy Nexus for now. I will probably only focus on Nexus phones from here on out. Just better than having the manufacturer's skins.

Its ok I guess. Not really a hardware knock out with its plastic like body and pentile screen. Hardware design too is an acquired taste.

Not sure why they needed a conference to announce this to be honest. Could have just put it on the floor with MWC next to other smartphones.

After seeing this, HTC one X is still my choice for the best Android phone money can buy.

Pentile at 720p isn't very noticeable. That's just a nitpick buzzword these days.

It's not very noticable for sure, but once you see it you can not unsee it...

I personally wouldn't care, but people buying these high specd android phones like to be on the bleeding edge of technology and this is definetly not the best screen they could have used.

Really though Samsung, why not super AMOLED + tech?

when iphone 5 will release with a 4.3" screen or something like that iphone users will be like "omg this new iphone screen is so huge". nothing against apple or the iphone, but some of their users live in an own world or something like that.

The whole point of this phone from what I can tell is Samsung saying "We can make software too...look at the cool things we made on top of android 4.0". Not really sure how I feel about that, but I'll try the phone. Maybe the cyanogen mod guys they hired helped them figure out how to make a decent skin.

Well, I have read that this latest version of their skin is vastly superior to previous versions. I'm just thinking about also letting all my contracts expire so I can switch from Verizon to AT&T so I can start using global GSM/LTE products instead of CDMA and Verizon specific LTE. Makes phone purchasing and upgrading easier.

The GNex is worse than the S2. The SoC is crappy.

SoC?

I don't want him to not buy a GS II because it is crappy, I don't want him to get it because it is becoming outdated.

Yeah that makes perfect sense.

I think it's going to be interesting once this tech spec war stops and all that is left to innovate on is software. Samsung I think has realized this as has HTC. I wouldn't be surprised if in the near future they decide to gut android much like Amazon and make it a full samsung experience

Oh... I forgot to post my opinion. XD

Just got the HTC One S yesterday, quite nice phone. I'll have to wait till 2014 to get another.

Since people are talking about Samsung Galaxy devices... Anyone use one of these?

http://www.staples.ca/ENG/Catalog/cat_sku.asp?webid=477559&CatIds=&AffixedCode=&=&=&=&cid=DA:SBD:CRTO:RMR:477559_ENG

At that price for a 5 inch PMP...I'm finding it hard to say no, despite the single core, android 2.3 and low pixel density...

Sadly... it was impossible for me to see... I was blocked by the evil Postal Code!
