But they already have the gameplay down, why can't they at least try to improve the graphics some? When you make a billion bucks of each game and put so little effort into it you know there's something wrong.

Uh...the gameplay keeps improving with each game. It's not just copy and paste.

Like I said before, 7 YEAR OLD CONSOLES. Gameplay and Features > Graphics

Just look at Bf3 and how many modes it has. Compare that to Modern Warfare 3....

I am comparing BF3 to MW3 and what I see is gameplay I find far superior in BF3. Maybe not on consoles but the PC experience of BF3 vs. MW3 is just a whole another level. Don't take this as an insult, this is just how I personally feel after playing both.

I feel the complete opposite.
:/

I do like nice graphics but for multiplayer games I always prefer gameplay.

Pezus, you mentioned a while before that you enjoy the campaign (story mode) of FPS. I think you may just want to have an open mind and listen to this BO2 interview where the developer talks about how exactly the new non-linear and sandbox gameplay will come into effect in BO2:

I personally don't really care much for campaign in most military FPS, but this really could turn into something very interesting. A lot of people complain (which I can agree on) that COD was the game that started the whole 5-6 hour linear and scripted campaign, but COD might be what changes that, maybe too early to decide. Let me know what you think, if you do decide to take a look that is :)

Interest is officially piqued.  Each year, the Call of Duty series does something which ends ups getting me to buy it.  This is looking like it has a metacampaign on top, lending to replayability in it.

Have they confirmed if they're implementing new game play mechanics?

Look at the trailer dude, its just gone live.

Just a trailer of the single player campaign, I see it's futuristic, but that doesn't confirm any new mechanics. E3 should though.

I could see glimpses of gameplay on a robot (the ones like steel batallion), quadrotor, jet, futuristic ac130 (a new drone I think), some kind of vehicle which I couldn't make out and even horseback lol.

Surely there will be some kind of new mechanics for some of these things.

I want to see how they're changing multiplayer.

Global product manager Kevin O'Leary belittles Activsion's just-announced Call of Duty game, suggesting yearly release cycle not ideal.

Activision formally took the wraps off Call of Duty: Black Ops II last night, giving fans a first glimpse at this year's new series entry. Not everyone is excited about the game, as Electronic Arts global product manager Kevin O'Leary took to Twitter today to belittle the title.

"Poor [Black Ops II], you look tired, you should take a year off and rest," he wrote.

O'Leary did not provide a rationale as to why he finds the game to appear in need of rest, and as of press time, he had not dispatched a follow-up tweet.

EA will ship a new shooter three weeks ahead of Black Ops II this October in the form of the multiplatform Medal of Honor: Warfighter. That game is a sequel to 2010's Medal of Honor reboot, which received a warm critical reception and shipped over 5 million copies.

So no Vita version then? I guess this means we can shelve the idea of crossplatform multiplayer with the PS3.

And yes, somebody had to say it. May as well be me.

Your post was conveniently ignored. It seems that Vita is getting a version, but no mention whatsoever about crossplatform with PS3.

@Paul There is no mention anywhere about a port for 3DS, Wii, nor WiiU, then just assume there isn't going to be one.

OT: Looks quite interesting, war is less boring if it's set in hipotetical environments.

EDIT: There is a Wii space in the forums of the official website. No mention about PVS or 3DS, tho.

This is more of a good thing, that means the Cod on Vita will be only available on Vita. If the same Cod was available on PS360 and PC people wouldn't see it as a reason to get a Vita.

I tried, I really did try, but yet again no fucks were given after watching the trailer. Or maybe one small fuck was given as I think the premise is a little interesting, but that's about it and certainly not enough to make me want to play it.

Hopefully this game will take the series downhill, the sooner Cod stops dominating the FPS genre the better.

I've read your second post, but I still have to ask, who the .... would think even a exclusive COD game is worth buying a Vita for? O.o

It surely won't be as bad as Modern Warfare 3 at least.

Treyarch just confirmed that zombies will now be 8 players instead of 4. Wow.
