Ew.... the new generation of consoles reeeeally needs to come out. That trailer looked so visually disgusting to my eyes. I'm actually surprised at how Free-to-Play online shooters come pretty close to the quality of Call of Duty, graphically. Sony and Microsoft really need to step up their game.

Not a fan of the mechs, and they looked clunky and awkward in motion.

These aren't meant to be blows at Call of Duty. It's a gritty realistic game that needs better hardware to match up to the growing standards of today, and Microsoft and Sony are being lazy.

lmfao...yoy do know this is an Activison game right?
And you are clearly a Nintendo fan so you shouldn't be one to talk....

Are you implying that Activision is known for making ugly games or something? And nice job trying to dismiss my opinion for my being a fan of Nintendo. That sort of attempt to dismiss someone on completely irrelevent grounds reminds me of arguing in middle school. I'm also a fan of Microsoft and Sony. What does that make my opinion now? Thrice as unreliable? :P

If anything, it's my PC bias that's showing right now - which, if you actually knew anything about me, you'd know I'm the biggest fan of right now. That in no way discounts my opinion, however. If anything, I'm the one who sees things clearer for how they are due to me knowing a higher standard of visuals.

Game looks like crap. We need a new console generation or Activision needs to learn how to make games nicer looking on the current gen. And I wasn't taking a cheap shot about the free-to-play shooters being comparable to CoD. You should check them out. Games like "Blacklight: Retribution" and "Tribes: Ascend" look damn beautiful against AAA console games... and they're F2P PC games. lol.

Well, there's at least some originality here. They really need a new engine though, it just looks old.

Easily outdoes Crysis IMO.
Graphically, yeah showing its age. But that didn't stop Black Ops or Modern Warfare 3 from breaking industry records.

Wait...in what way? There's no need for you to bring up the sales each time someone mentions something bad about CoD

Story. It already seems way more interesting that of Crysis 2 or 3.
Sales is just common sense.

Lol. At least you guys will be shooting dudes in brown environments in the future this time.

6 year old consoles dude...

Also... Gameplay > Graphics

And a 13 year old engine lol

Engine is actually heavily modified. It is no longer the Quake 3 engine. It is something else entirely.

Here's some great screenshots of the game. Even confirms some new gameplay elements like Squad mangement.

I still don't see how Crysis was relevant here. It's not too hard to outdo Crysis 2's story TBH

Crysis is set in the future is it not? The multiplayer of #2 was pretty weak and story is usually given as its strong point. So all it really has is graphics.

Like I keep telling you people, graphics should come last, not first.

LOL are you actually trying to defend Crysis 2? Its multiplayer was a copypasta of COD. I will not comment about PC because it is a much superior game on PC (as are most PC games for that matter at this point) but on console it had extremely clunky controls. Your character feels like a ton of bricks to move, it may have had better graphics but comes nowhere near COD in terms of gameplay. And why exactly does graphics become the only thing to consider when it comes to COD anyway?

This is coming from a dude who still plays the original Crysis in its full glory on PC just to take in the beautiful visuals.

Good news: http://mp1st.com/2012/05/01/black-ops-2-zombies-mode-confirmed-non-linear-gameplay-elements-in-the-campaign/
During the latest episode of Roll Call on Call of Duty Elite TV, Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia stated, ”If you like zombies, you’re going to be really happy with what we’re doing with Black Ops 2. It’s our biggest, most-ambitious zombies ever.”

In regards to what how the campaign will be different, Lamia explained that Black Ops 2 will have “branching story lines, new non-linear gameplay elements that we’ve been designing into the campaign.”

As for the multiplayer, he promised that it will get it’s own reveal. He assured that Treyarch is “really pushing the boundaries in mutliplayer.” Also, Elite will have a “deep integration inside of Black Ops 2.”

Branching stories? I never thought I would hear that for a COD game.

And zombies is something that I can not get enough of. I fully trust Treyarch to take Zombies to the next level, had so much fun breaking the codes and getting to know the zombies storyline in the last Moon map. With this future setting, they can take it anywhere.

well what do you know, this could be the most interesting looking call of duty in ages. Definitely keeping an eye on this
