Have they confirmed if they're implementing new game play mechanics?

Look at the trailer dude, its just gone live.

Just a trailer of the single player campaign, I see it's futuristic, but that doesn't confirm any new mechanics. E3 should though.

I could see glimpses of gameplay on a robot (the ones like steel batallion), quadrotor, jet, futuristic ac130 (a new drone I think), some kind of vehicle which I couldn't make out and even horseback lol.

Surely there will be some kind of new mechanics for some of these things.

Bring on Black Ops II.

The Trailer was some good shit. I love futuristic stuff and this looks cool!

Yea trailer was awesome. I liked how they had horseback lol. 15 killstreak-attack horse and a sword?

Ew.... the new generation of consoles reeeeally needs to come out. That trailer looked so visually disgusting to my eyes. I'm actually surprised at how Free-to-Play online shooters come pretty close to the quality of Call of Duty, graphically. Sony and Microsoft really need to step up their game.

Not a fan of the mechs, and they looked clunky and awkward in motion.

These aren't meant to be blows at Call of Duty. It's a gritty realistic game that needs better hardware to match up to the growing standards of today, and Microsoft and Sony are being lazy.

i hope the dive to prone is back something i missed and thought should of been in MW3

the horseback section looked to familiar, i know its in the middle east but couldnt they use something else like an atv, jeep or even a camel to be a little you know different

Yes, let us judge the generation of consoles on a game series that for the last 5 years of releases has made little effort to visually improve and was never great looking in the first place.

7 year old tech is 7 years old.

I suppose I was wrong though, part of the blame definitely lies with Activision. The way they chose to build up and present the game just isn't a good fit for the level of technology they're working with. That's assuming their direction would work better with a higher-powered rig, which I suppose we'll see next gen.

Well the graphics look exactly the same. Guess I couldn't expect them to improve on something.

It's still on PS3/360........

You can't improve the graphics on the game without sacrificing many features such as 4-player split screen and # of online players.

I don't play Call of Duty for its graphics, I play it for its addicting multiplayer just like the 25million other people out there.

If it's so addicting, why not play the same game all the time instead of buying a new one each year?

Uh...its a video game. It gets boring after a while. I could continue playing Modern Warfare 3 though but I know there will be a new, better COD out there so its kinda hard to keep playing something old while everyone else in my friends list has moved on.

Lol. At least you guys will be shooting dudes in brown environments in the future this time.

Also... Gameplay > Graphics

lmfao...yoy do know this is an Activison game right?
And you are clearly a Nintendo fan so you shouldn't be one to talk....

Well, there's at least some originality here. They really need a new engine though, it just looks old.

Easily outdoes Crysis IMO.
Graphically, yeah showing its age. But that didn't stop Black Ops or Modern Warfare 3 from breaking industry records.
