Hopefully people stop now with the stuff like Halo 4 will be the graphicsking of this Gen and so on.
You could fill the Top10 alone with PS3 Exclusives - Especially the newer ones look even more gorgeous.
Didn't see that coming - The PS3 has still so much in it.

Its kinda sad all those bad and overpayed Devs couldn't support the console with their Multiplatgames.
There is no excuse if someone like Naughty Dog and Santa Monica Studios can put out games like this while others can't even understand how develop for the greatest console hardware ever made.
They learn it or they just get less money cause lazyness shouldn't get payed that much....If those Devs would work hard every game could look like that on the PS3.

And of course its still nice to see someone can keep up with Naughty Dog.
Its probably nice for all those studios to work on the strongest hardware available and not thinking about other stuff.Just go all out as you please.

Team Nomura is surely jelly cause he probably can't bring his Versus13 to the PS3 Exclusive - Probably the only 3rd Party Dev that could reach Sony Exclusive Studio quality.

Actually from the tiny bit thats been shown Halo 4 is looking like a for sure contender for top 5 best looking console games this generation.

But thats besides the point and has nothing to do with God of War Ascension so we'll leave it at that.

I will say one quick comment about Ascensions graphics though, did any of you actually watch the 720p video of the gameplay in action? It looks really good especially the cyclops no doubt but I don't understand how any of you guys are claiming "graphics king".

Uncharted 3 utterly destroys this very brief multiplayer video thats been shown. There is very little detail on the actual character models and the level itself isn't anything overly incredible looking. Its a very nice looking multiplayer trailer no question and I'm sure the final game will be gorgeous considering how beautfiul GOW 3 was at its best but from a graphical perspective this trailer isn't anything unbelievable or unseen on consoles at all......

Well multiplayer modes tend to have pretty bad graphics in general, so its not that surprising I guess.

Theres absolutely no chance that ascension would look worse than God of War III. I dont think Santa Monica Studios will think that would be acceptable.

Oh ya I 100% agree, Ascension very well could be graphics king, like I said for me the boss battle from GOW3 still are the best on any console.  But its just the way people are going on about the graphics is kinda weird because.........well they aren't that impressive.  It looks better in screens than it does in action thats why I linked to the 720p video.

But still for a multiplayer component this far from release it looks great but this debut gameplay graphically isn't anywhere remotly near something like Uncharted 3 or the Witcher 2.  The most impressive part graphically from this multi was the Cyclops, but the level and characters themselves aren't anything we've never seen before at all.

Nauwty Dawg will put up a fight, you can bet your ass on that ^^. Considering this aint GoWIV nor ND making UC4, it feels a tad more even. But still: Its a GoW VS a new IP: I think SSM just might take the torch.

Yeah, but as you said, its still early days and there is room for improvement. And to each their own i guess because i think it looks better in motion.

This game is a good idea executed poorly. It should have been a vita title or an early ps4 game. Its not going to move any hardware on ps3.

I agree.  I mean, it's gorgeous, no doubt.  But to exclaim "graphics king" and essentially say that a game's graphics trump Uncharted 3 is a very bold statement, and we simply haven't seen enough of Ascension yet.

But I'm one of the people who thought that Uncharted 2 was, overall, better looking than God of War 3 in the end, so maybe it's just a style thing.

LOL! Um, that's what God of War IV is gonna be for. To sale PS4's. This ISNT God of War IV, just like Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta weren't direct numerical sequels either.

And you are out of your mind if you think the best looking console game ever made to date (which is what this is surely looking to be) isn't going to be a CONSOLE SELLER. Sony will definitely sale extra consoles because of this title.
