Microsoft has had the 360 on selves since Nov/Dec 2005. Even now the 360 has yet to hit the magic less than $100/100GBP pricetag.

When Microsoft hit this price the console will see its last huge jump in sales. And it will be a significant jump in sales. It always is when a console crosses the 100 mark. It practically kept the Wii afloat and made huge sales for PS2 back in the day.

When do you think this will happen and how much will it affect sales?

I believe the pricecut will be announced at E3. And the pricecut will happen immediately. Imagine this christmas being able to get a bundled 360 with Halo 4 or COD or Resi 6 for $99.99/99.99GBP?

It will fly off shelves.

Xbox 360 4GB Console - $100.00

Xbox 360 4GB Console with Kinect - $150.00 or $125.00

Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite 250GB - $180.00 or $150.00

Xbox 360 250GB with Kinect - $200.00

Less than 100. I'd say over 100,000

since people who will buy the console if it will drop below 100 won't buy as many games as other gamers, i don't think we will see the console with halo 4 or another new game for 100 bucks. if microsoft would know that these people would buy a lot of games to get revenue from the game sales they would maybe do it but to sell only a few games to them which most of them will be only games with low price or from other developers? maybe 149,- with halo 4 and 3 month xbox live but not 100,-

It's obvious, 360 would have a million week, every week.

250GB xbox to 199$€

it won't have that big of an effect imo, since 360s were basically cheaper than a Nintendo DS during black friday and troughout the holidays. Plus WiiU is releasing.

There might be a price drop announced at E3, depending on if the Wii U price is announced. But I have a feeling that the price drop is more likely to happen around the launch of the Wii U.

I highly doubt that Halo 4 will be included with the console at the lower pricepoint, but I would not be surprised if there is a special edition bundle with an extra controller, a larger HDD and Kinect for about $100 more than the 250GB kinect bundle.

I do think they will have a holiday bundle with Halo CE and one other game this year around November.

agree that we'll see a price cut this year and it will have a big impact in sales thats why i have 360 number 1 this year

i would like to see it as early as possible but june-august looks like when it will happen

as for price i would be pretty shocked to see a $99 xbox let alone a re6, cod, halo4 4 bundle for $99, unless its black friday what i see happening is the current 250gb or HDD equipped going to $199 with the arcade model getting axed or getting more value for $150

yeah 99 for xbox and halo 4 would be crazy. people who own an xbox and plan to buy halo 4 would buy the console bundle then, they would play halo 4 and make a toaster out of the 360 or something like that^^
