Too early to call, I never really noticed graphics when playing Halo much, and unless they make the game more action centric(similar to COD) or change the art style completely, I don't think it can reach that (for some odd reason) coveted title of a graphics king.

Really hoping these images are not enhanced like final fantasy XIII's were.

We actually don't have anything to call it the graphics king. Only one of them actually looks like it's gameplay. And the one gif we saw was just 500 pixels wide so we don't really know if it will look that sharp in 720p.

On all consoles?No - Top 5 = PS3 exclusives + 1-2 Multiplats
And it will probably not even Top5 at the end of that year with all the games that are coming.Probably E3 will reveal some crazy stuff.
Hell even Uncharted 3 won't probably be staying at number 1 cause The Last of Us will look better.

Looks nothing like Mass Effect 3. Mass Effect 3's texture, shadow, geometry quality was down right horrible, even on the PC...
Which could be blamed on the fact it uses the Unreal Engine.
However, one spot where Mass effect has always been great was with the lighting effects and art style. - Which Halo 4 exceeds it in every way from what I have seen. (Art can be subjective, however.)
Another annoying trend that I notice with games that use the Unreal Engine is how faces always have a plastic, shiny look to them; Which Mass Effect suffers from.

Personally, I'm waiting on the Beta so I can judge the graphics quality for myself, these images that are being posted around have been cleaned up, console games have allot more aliasing and less sharp textures and shadows to them, but if 343 can prove me wrong in this case, I won't complain.

Insane graphics and best self shadowing ever...

Witcher 2 on 360 looks amazing, chapter 2 is insane also the others but Chapter 2 impressed me most, in some part is the best looking game i´ve ever seen. But the best graphics is very subjective, Uc3 is on Top and then Gears of War 3 easily only then comes games like Killzone 3, Witcher 2 and some but for me the best graphics still belong to :

1 - Red Dead Redemption 

2 - Crysis 2

Sure some other games look as good but they are linear games like Uc3 or Gears of War 3, Crysis 2 has huge maps and RdR is a sandbox wich is why i was mindblown when played it.

Also God of War graphics are amazing but only in Boss Parts, the rest of the game is average i dont know why it gets so credit on graphics, is absolutely mediocre if you hadnt those insane graphical boss (press buttion X Fights), i would say in Boss Parts is easily on Top 3 but the rest is way way far from Top 10 even.

Well only time will tell, i believe Halo 4 will be the next king of graphics!

360 fan- ZOMG looks amazing!

PS3 fan- Can't see what looks so good about them....
