So all Canadian Gamers know today was the CVGA'S the Canadian Video Game Awards the ultimate game award show in Canada. Yours truly was the first person in the door other then the VIP's! After chatting with the worlds greatest game journalist Victor Lucas and his co-host Scott C Jones I was all ready to go to the award show fresh off the invigorating hype. I found my seat and honestly it was a thrill ride. Because the show will be airing across Canada on the 28th I won't spoil who took home what awards. But I will tell you a few highlights.

The big unvielings were shrouded in mystery as developers teased us. Microsoft was first announcing Microsoft Canada is working on something big right here in the great north but twenty pages of NDAs is keeping further info top secret. Warner Brothers Montreal then confirmed they too have a top secret game we will be hearing about very soon. A new top secret game featuring voice actors from BioWare is also coming very soon. All three games are coming from our Canadian studios. Unfortunetly the representatives of all three companies would only hype me up and not reveal anything other then these will be massive titles.

David Hayter was the host and he made just as good a host as any VGA host ever has. The show is plastered with humour panels from Snake interrupt the show regularly with a hilarious plot. Through in the band playing all of the nominated musical masterpieces from this games show. Then their is the "Talking Canadian Video Games with Americans" the hilarity ensues as American gamers look like morons lol! Followed by a "Do you know David Hayter session" featuring David Hayter himself. A voice acting contest between the three best voice actors in the Canadian industry this Gen, well the best low grasp voices. Wrap it up with some more humor in a reel showing all of the most offensive content gaming has provided us recently just for all the parent groups watching. It was freaking hilarious.

I was so proud to be a Canadian. My voice is gone from screaming, my hands beat red from clapping my stomach sick from laughing. The show was so freaking good. Tune in in a week and see it for yourself, also I can he seen cheering on everything yelling screaming and fist pumping for my favorite game. Try to guess who I am from the crowd it'll be where's Waldo video game edition.

Spurge the show took place In Vancouver only an hour away. Plus yes fixing my PC comes second to my career if I can get my PC fixed that would be great but my career and my fun comes first. These three new unknown games are probably going to be pretty big I as usual heard something else spilt accidentally but it is under an NDA. I really want my Press credentials again, then again my buddy Jan who is a full time gaming journalist got less time with David Hayter then I did as a fan. Freelance blows doubt anybody wants anything from the show I didn't do any professional interviews. My sole purpose for attending was the CVA's and to meet my role models and inspiration the Electronic Playground and Reviews on the Run teams. Those guys are massive they are what I would love to become.

Also Spurge if their is a game event of this magnitude within hours range of me. It would be unimaginable not to attend PAX is again going to happen. Also Scott C Jones told me he wants to see me at Fan Expo Toronto which takes place the same week PAX does. I doubt I can make it happen but if I don't buy any souvenirs and I find a third person to bunk with us I might be able to swing it.

My ticket to getting off disability, getting a career and actually doing something with my life lies in the games industry. Second to Jesus Christ himself video games are my absolute priority I will starve or eat Mac & Cheese so I can game and get a job in gaming. Saving my amazing time at the Electronic Playground / Reviews on the run booth till I can give you a better taste!
