Noctis could be playing around with the rules but usually a Friendly Neighbor doesn't get to choose the message sent to his contact. The chosen person should only get a generic message saying "X wants you to know, he's a townie" so MUGEN getting info like "that person doesn't want to be revealed" seems off.

Knowing this information was sent on Night 1 and that MUGEN was picked by the Friendly Neighbor, I would guess that our FN is a newb which points to Manuel.

I actually went back to find the original msg I got from noctis to see the list of my powers

I can totally protect ninpie....but the risk is if he is lying :S

if he's lying you're pretty much dead tomorrow anyway, (other that the possibility of radish)

While if he's telling the truth we'll be in good shape tomorrow.

Even if he's telling the truth (especially if he's telling the truth), IMO you should use your investigation ability.  Ninpie protects you tonight, tomorrow you know if someone is mafia or not. 

That, as opposed to you protect Ninpie one night, someone else dies, and you still don't know anything new.

I knew a super skinny kid who could drink a 24 pack every night and not be drunk. Strange guy. Never ate sugar, only salty foods.
