As we just learned, it's better to wait for NPD or official numbers to say anything. I believe, for instance, Vita is undertracked in Americas again. Shipped numbers can't come soon enough

But let me talk about Japan, since it's close to official numbers as we can get.
Vita is going thru hell! Only logic56 can view those numbers as good, because to me they are disastrous. It's really looking to be a PS2-GC type of domination for the 3DS there - with two major differences, it's getting there way faster and this time the top seller has ALL major franchises at their disposal (including obviously Nintendo first party).

I believe the vita lineup for Japan is looking a lot stronger than it ever did for gaemcube. There's a release this week, right?

This week it has Lumines

Next week it has Ciel no Surge

May there's no major games coming.

But like always, I'm not arguing quality - I believe Vita has a great library of quality games already - but sales... and with the only exception of Soul Sacrifice (exception for it being a wild card not a certainty yet), no announced games can change this outcome - just like a major title like SSBM (1,4 mi sold in japan) coudn't save the Gamecube, imagine if Hatsune Miku could?

In the near future, It will be just not feasible for third parties not to release their games on the 8 million user base system over the 1 million other system, imo.

Did you expect the One Piece Musou game for ps3 to sell 800k in a week and push up ps3 sales by 100k?

Well the wii is at the end of his lifecycle. So its only normal that sales continue to drop. What do people expect?

Vita dropped again a little bit and it will continue until june when the games came.

PS3 sales amazing as always.

Hmm, no - even though One Piece is bigger than Mario there. But I expect Pokemon to do a million first week and push 3DS past 150k. And I expect Monster Hunter to sell 2 million first week and push 3DS by 200k units.

That's the thing about expected things, they tend to happen quite more often than unexpected ones.

NO ADJUSTMENTS THIS WEEK!!!

It's some weird backwards compatability that requires you to download PSP stuff to your PS3 and then download it back to your Vita - I'm not sure exactly how it works, or if all games support it

You don't have to download to ps3, you can download psp games directly to your vita. Vita is fully backward compatible with psp.

So, all new PSP titles are on PSN?

No, that's not exactly true. What I meant is that the vita is capable of playing all psp games.

In Japan, where they have the Vita passport, they can move any psp game to vita.

Then, it's not fully backwards compatible.

EDIT: That PSV Passport is not being used by all publishers, is it?

WOW Gran Turismo 5 in UK chart.

No, you didn't. You think soul sacrifice is the only one able to sell Vita games?

Pokemon, Monster Hunter, Mario. Do you know any other games?

Vita USA > Vita Europe
