Forums - Sales - Is the Global Hardware Chart wrong?

Ok so this is my question, is the giant global hardware chart on the main page wrong. This is why i ask. When 2012 began the gap between the PS3 and 360 was 3.1m million, and now the gap is 2.7 million despite the PS3 selling 800k more consoles YTD. So shouldn't the gap be only 2.3 Million?

I Hate the fact that all these pillows are contaminated by retard!!

Figures are adjusted based on new data.... in other words the X360 total for pre-2012 must have increased by about 400k between the two periods you checked the hardware gap.

If you go here: http://www.vgchartz.com/yearly/2011/Global/
you can see the gap at the end of 2011 is now ~3.5 million
