I'm not trolling, I love my 3DS and I don't have an iphone. Just imagine for a minute if next-gen Nintendo handled will actually be an iphone peripheral you have to buy in order to access Nintendo games on iOS. How would you react? Would it be so bad?

This image is quite close to what I'm thinking about, imagine 4 buttons on the right, shoulder triggers, the left part could be exchanged with an anlog stick part.

That would be a downgraded Playstation Vita with no touch pad on its back.



Seriously though, Nintendo would never do anything like that unless Apple bught them completely (approx. 250 years from now, at the very least). And then this peripheral wouldn't be required to play Nintendo games on iOS.

On top of that, Apple would not go beyond touch-only for their mobile devices.


Of course, anything can happen, but I'd say "no".
