Good race.

Although the first 2 spots were settled too soon, with Mav and the surprising Fenati claiming the first and second positions from the beginning, the battle for the third spot has been fun with 5 riders fighting for it until the last lap. In the end, Cortese got it.

Now it's turn for Moto 2.

What a wonderful race!

Moto 2 is such a great category. Impossible to tell who could win until the finish line. Bravo Marquez, Iannone, Pol and Luthi (better luck next time).

Nice, I occasionally watch MotoGP. Is it on Sky Sports this year? And I heard Jorge Lorenzo won.

Yes, Lorenzo won in a rather interesting and fun race.

The race started as one would expect, with Pedrosa doing an excellent start from 7 to 2nd, then the usual 3 (Lorenzo, Pedrosa and Stoner) went to do their own race. The surprising factor has been that Stoner has compartment syndrome and has been surpassed by both of the Spanish riders.

Regarding Sky Sports... I'm from Spain so I can't tell you. But if you can watch the races, I highly recommend you to watch the Moto 2 race. So much fun!

Ok guys, the second race is here: Jerez.

And unfortunately, the rain will be present the whole weekend, starting with today's Free Practices.

In the first session, the fastest riders have been: Fenati in Moto3, Zarco in Moto2 and in MotoGP... Ivan Silva with his CRT! But only because 8 of the 21 MotoGP riders have taken part in this first practice (and of those only 2 where within 107% of Silva's time).

Qualifying is over and thankfully rain has only made a minor appearance during MotoGP but without any impact on lap times.

It rained in the mornig and that caused the track to be wet during the Moto3 QP. That made them slower than expected but it also ment that the brave ones who choosed the slip tire took the first spots at the end. Alex Rins has been the fastest, followed by Cortese and Oliveira.

MotoGP QP has begun with Crutchlow in very good shape and going very fast, but after his fall near the end he has lost all the option for the pole position. The fight has been between Pedrosa and Lorenzo, with the later been the winner by 0.1 sec. Third position to Hayden at 1 sec of Lorenzo. Stoner, who dislikes Jerez circuit made it to 5th and Rossi, 13th at almost 3.5 sec.

In Moto2 there hasn't been a clear dominator, it will be a fun race tomorrow. Marquez has been the fastest one with the surprisingly fast Nakagami second and Pol Espargaro being 3rd.

These are the results:

Hmm, Stefan Bradl looks like a potential star of the future in MotoGP as he is doing well in his debut season.

Indeed, he has adapted to MotoGP very fast.

The races are over for now, as the next race, Estoril happens in a week.

Moto 3 and Moto 2 races have been affected by the weather.

In Moto 3 the track was wet from the morning rain and, as all riders have chosen slick tires, there were a lot of falls. Of those, 14 couldn't end the race. In the end, the winner has been the now championship leader Romano Fenati, who didn't make any big mistakes and benefited from the falls of Oliveira and Rins. The other members of the podium were Luis Salom and Sandro Cortese. Mav. Viñales

Moto 2 has been affected by the rain, that appeared when there were 11 laps remaining. The race started with Luthi, Marquez, Redding, Espargaró, Di Meglio and Krummenacher fighting for the 1st place until the last 2 fell. Things didn't change much, with Luthi, Marquez and Redding fighting for the first position until the rain appeared, with Marquez first and Espargaró later taking the lead. At the end of lap 17 Espargaró was first and even though Marquez passed him and was the first to cross the finish line at lap 18, the race was stopped then because of the rain and, as the regulations say that the final positions come from the last race where all the drivers have crossed the finish line, Espargaró was declared the winner, with Marquez second and Luthi third.

In Moto GP, the race started as usual with Pedrosa taking the lead, followed by Lorenzo, Crutchlow and Hayden with Stoner and Dovizioso joining the fight later. Stoner soon take the lead, with only Lorenzo being able to follow him, while Dovi, Hayden, Crutchlow and Dani fighting for the third spot. In the end, victory for Stoner followed by Lorenzo and Pedrosa.

So, what are your thoughts about the race today, and the championship after 2 races?
