Forums - Nintendo - Bionic Commando interview - Could come to Wii if demand is there

Videogamer interviewed Ben Judd BC's producer and asked him about a possible Wii version:

VideoGamer.com: Could the game ever come to the Wii? I'm thinking it might be pretty cool to swing Spencer around with the Wii Remote.

BJ: It will largely depend on what the fans want for the future of Bionic Commando. If the interest is there, of course we want as many people as possible to appreciate this great franchise.

So it sounds as if Capcom is at least willing to consider it.  Personally, I'm indifferent on this one, but I know a lot of you want more 'core' games on the Wii and this might be an oppurtunity if someone wants to take on starting a petition or such.

i read this before. I enjoyed the one on the NES. It would be interesting to see what they did with it on wii and compare it to the other two consoles.

Looking at the gameplay in the videos, a Wii Bionic Command could be a lot of fun.

Or check out my new webcomic: http://selfcentent.com/

Given how cool Samus' grapple beam was in MP3, and given that web swinging was the only fun part of Spiderman 3, I would love to see how a talented developer like Capcom would apply the swinging mechanic to Wii.

Good to hear that developers are keeping an open mind.

The original was a NES game (I think) and this is the sequel / remake 16 years later.  Isn't out, and havn't even seen a hands-on preview yet so who knows? Looks cool.

The NES one was very good, the final boss battle was nice and violent. In fact the NES version was much better than the arcade one.

*rolls eyes*

How many times do we have to hear "if the interest is there"? Just how exactly do they determine if the interest is there?
