Be sure to get Godfather or Scarface. Great use of motion/IR to enhance sandbox-type gameplay.
Other good underrated games:
RRR 1 & 2 - fun mini-games and multiplayer, good use of motion control
Dewy's Adventure - Sickeningly sweet, and not perfect but fun and challenging cross between platformer and Mercury Meltdown - which is another good game and great value for $20
Mario Strikers Charged - Frantic online fun
Zack & Wiki is a must buy. I only read good impressions about it.

-Wii Play sold out in Best Buy and Future Shop in Toronto... hmmm
-I only have one A/V connection on the back of my TV (used for my cable box), so I'll need a component connection... Gaming at 480p!!!!
- Within 3 hours of my gf finding out we owned a Wii she's called me to ask about Wii Fit.. and was pretty dissapppointed when i told her its not coming out till May
- Nunchuk's also missing in action from Best Buy and Future Shop.. maybe if I check out the EB games where I bought the Wii??

lmao too true, I helped a buddy of mine at work find a Wii back in September by roaming around during "lunch" break.
