It will soon be the 20th anniversary of the Mario Kart franchise's debut and what better way to celebrate than to host some Mario Kart racing throughout the rest of the year. The anniversary racing can consist of Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart 7 (let me know on what racetypes you want for both). Let me know on what date and times you want for racing and post me your FC's for both as well.

There may be a tally of points of how well you do in each game, and at the end of the year 1st, 2nd, and 3rd will be rewarded for Mario Kart Wii results and for Mario Kart 7. 

What would the exact date of the anniversary be? (What day did the first MK come out.) Also, would we be starting this on that day? Sounds like a good idea, though I don't think there will be many participants. :/

August 27. This could just be a one day thing where all the races are hosted around that week.

I'm guessing this won't be as successful as I thought, which is a shame because I thought there would still be interest in both games.
