Insulting Kojima for making bad games is one thing I can understand. Now insulting him for making bad movies... now that's preposterous!

God damn, how many of these self-important indie developers are we going to have to suffer through.

While I'm not a fan of MGS, it's easy to criticise when all you personally do is small games.

Also indie is indie, deal with it.

Seriously now, kinda.

This guy only ported VVVVVV, so I won't listen to him.
If it was the developer, I would totally go "yeah, Kojima sucks" since VVVVVV is better than all MGS games combined - and I really like MGS 1 and 3!

I think every self-respecting gamer knows this. Enthusiasts of cheesy movies may still love Kojima's work though.

Most of us have known this for years.

What about self-respecting lovers of crazy writing or self-respecting and unconditional lovers of Kojima?

I think people use extremes too much.

While I can agree that his games have too much cutscenes etc, jumping from the norm to terrible seems to be an exaggeration for getting hits.
 Maybe he really thinks it's terrible but, too many people jump to extremes just to have a contrarians point of view.

I love his games though and the first 2 MGS are amongst my top 50 favorite games, Just I generally agree with the cutscene issue, if he cut them down by 33% and added gameplay for that amount of time, I think they would  superior games, but you can criticize every game.

Kojima bashing? Guess you have to expect everything in today's time.
